Thus, entry into this world as Jules Ralph Feiffer occurred on January 26, 1929 in the Borough of Bronx, New York City with Rhoda Feiffer the mother and David Feiffer the father. He was born and raised with his bord wise Jewish parents and two sisters at this tender age.
His father was not engaged in any form of employment during the Great Depression whilst his mother was running a shop of fashion, selling weaving materials.
Feiffer was also displaying drawings at the age of five while his mother encouraged him and by the age of thirteen, his mother commissioned for a drawing table. He also joined New York Art Students League to study anatomy in 1947 at that very time he was continuing his high school.

The indie career of his was initiated in 1946 when he joined the Eisner studio workshop until the year 1956. For ten years he worked for Will Eisner and from this learned the proper values of the comic book trade and the way to write.
Feiffer leveraged another chance to begin his comic strip Feiffer at The Village Voice that was his play to start the 1956 year. His comic strip did not take off as such, but forty years later, it emerged as a very successful one, politically/socially.
Vulture
Feiffer created over thirty-five books and began his publishing career with Harry the Rat With Women in 1963 and his illustration for Tantrum appeared in 1979. In many ways, he dedicated himself to publish the first book of figures of comic books at 1965.
This has been proven by Feiffer in expanding not only his capacity for making theatrical creations but also screenplays as well. Between 1967 and 1980 Feiffer got one Obie and wrote screenplays for Carnal Knowledge with direction by Mike Nichols and screenplay for Popeye in direction by Robert Altman.
In other years, before he started his self-illustrated kids books in 1993, Feiffer illustrated The Phantom Tollbooth.

Personal Life
He had three marriages and his daughter Halley Feiffer became a brilliant actress and the scriptwriter. Later in September 2016, he tied the knot with JZ Holden; the union produced a Jewish and Budhist terrific life partner. He has also been traveling since then, with his partner in New York upstate until his death.
